The WebAwards honor excellence across 86 industries by evaluating websites based on seven essential criteria. Web professionals worldwide are invited to participate and showcase their digital achievements. The deadline for submissions is May 30, 2025. HOW WEBSITES ARE EVALUATED
Websites submitted to the WebAward competition are assessed on seven key performance factors: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use. Each entry is scored numerically and benchmarked against other websites in its category, as well as an industry-wide standard of excellence. Participants also gain exclusive insights from expert judges on ways to improve their web development strategies.

Winning a WebAward offers unparalleled recognition and credibility, positioning web professionals and businesses as leaders in their industries. Award-winning websites are featured on the competition’s high-ranking website, benefiting from SEO visibility and increased traffic. Companies and developers receive a dedicated Winner’s Page, acknowledging their creative and technical expertise and can order physical awards, including trophies, plaques, and certificates.
RECOGNITION FOR THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY
The 2025 WebAwards will highlight the top websites across multiple categories:
- Best of Industry Awards: The highest honor in each of the 86 industry categories, including education, healthcare, financial services, travel, advertising, transportation, government, and more.
- Best of Show Award: The pinnacle of achievement, given to the single website that the judges determine as the best overall entry. In 2024, FINE received this top honor for their exceptional work on the Canyon Ranch website.
- Top Interactive Agency Award: Recognizing the digital agency that wins the most WebAwards. In 2024, FINE was awarded the title after securing eight WebAwards and accumulating 36 quality points. The competition consolidates points across all agency locations to determine the winner.
- Outstanding Interactive Developer Award: Agencies or corporations earning six or more WebAwards receive additional recognition. In 2024, this honor was awarded to nine firms, including UP Hotel Agency, WSI, Tyler Technologies, Miles Partnership, Milestone Inc., Risdall Marketing Group, Thomson Reuters/Findlaw, Vye, and Jack Henry.
COMPETITION JUDGING
The judging panel for the WebAwards consists of esteemed industry professionals with extensive experience in web development, design, and marketing. Judges include representatives from top organizations such as Adobe, Disney, IBM, Facebook, R/GA, Microsoft, PayPal, and more. Their expertise ensures that the competition maintains its reputation as a leading authority in recognizing web excellence.
Judging will take place between June and August, with winners announced in September 2025.
