About Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation
The Sisters of Notre Dame of the United States, are part of an international congregation of Catholic women, serving the Church in 17 countries on five continents. In the United States, the Sisters of Notre Dame focus on three national ministry priorities including: education and healthcare, ministries on the margins (known as Justice, Peace, & Integrity of Creation (JPIC), and Vocation & Young Adult ministry.
The JPIC ministry serves to empower women and children and all people who are living on the margins of society through an interlocking framework of Advocacy, Education, and Direct Service.
This website, as a member of the sndusa.org family of websites, was designed to target external audiences (donors, Associates, volunteers, community partners, friends, neighbors, and interested individuals) for the purpose of creating awareness, identifying opportunities, and developing inspiration for direct service outreach, empowering people to consider the unique ways they can participate within their own lives and communities. In addition, the website
offers educational resources and opportunities for advocacy on current and pressing social issues.
