About the Agency

This website was created by Civica Software, a major provider of website content management solutions for local governments. The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), which also serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization, is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, and was established to assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound regional development. NCTCOG is the host organization for the Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities Coaltion, a U.S. Department of Energy program. The Coalition is a locally-based, public/private partnership that seeks to advance energy security, protect environmental and public health, and stimulate economic development by promoting practices and decisions to reduce petroleum consumption and improve air quality, primarily in the transportation sector.
