With a focus on user-centered design, Ketchum delivered a gorgeous website to its residents. The homepage greets visitors with a stunning photo of the town and its surroundings, with the city’s motto prominently featured. The homepage also drastically improved navigation, making key links prominent and easy to find. Ketchum employed a local artist to design their icons. For example, based on usage data and user feedback, the city’s key links include business and staff directories, email subscriptions, parks, projects, ordinances/resolutions, and property listings. The site is fully responsive on any mobile device and is ADA compliant. Not only is the interface drastically improved, but it also integrates seamlessly with the Municode meeting software the city uses, which streamlines operations for city staff.
