About the Agency

The GovHK programme is to transform the government-centric model of service delivery, where bureaux/departments operate within individual silos, to a citizen-centric approach that puts emphasis on meeting the needs of citizens through cross-departmental collaboration and service integration. Based on a service clustering approach, users do not need to know the internal structure of the Government and yet can obtain useful services and information which meet their needs. The design of GovHK has taken into account the capabilities and limitations of the most popular web browsers, and also place significant emphasis on its accessibility to ensure smooth access by people with special needs, e.g. the visually impaired persons.
