Zellmer McConnell was tasked with informing Central Texans about the new Express Lane being built along the MoPac (Loop 1) corridor. The new lane uses the innovative technology of variable tolling. Because this was a new technology, our challenge was to both inform the public about how this technology works, while at the same time striking a conversational tone that would ease traffic angst in Austin.
