When it comes to creating a fungicide product that kills the competition, BASF Revytek is the expert. However, when it comes to creating an immersive, engaging experience to show their target audience – soy farmers in key states – what sets their fungicide apart from its competitors, BASF Revytek needed to enlist an expert in great advertising. And Infillion was up to the challenge. For Desktop and Mobile, BASF and Infillion worked as a team to come up with a fun reaction game experience based on BASF’s existing campaign assets. The user used their keyboard to move a shark across the screen, catching goldfish as it swam, in a visual metaphor showing how Revytek’s fungicide beats out any competitors’ products. A connected TV version of the campaign showcased three different sets of video creative to really drive home the messaging that “There’s Revytek fungicide and then there’s everything else.” On Desktop/Mobile, the unit generated an average of 3.3 interactions per user and it saw a 100% VCR. On CTV, users spent an average of 52 seconds in the experience, far past the 30-second minimum spend, and we saw a 0.94% QR code scan rate. Overall, this campaign increased the brand KPI of awareness by 55% and drove 2X more purchase intent lift than Infillion’s category average. There really is Revytek fungicide…and then there’s everything else.
