Best Telecommunication Rich Media Online Ad

Project Overview:
Avaya, the telecommunications giant, has created a set of networking products and architectures that meets the demand for large-scale cloud solutions. Their VENA (virtual enterprise network architecture) solutions represent the bleeding edge of virtualized servers, and they came to Faction Media to make it feel that way. In order to get the word out (and sell a complex technology solution to a small audience), we suggested they create a video and infographic that provide the context and detail of the system in a slick, simple package.

Objectives:
An online banner campaign and homepage marquee on Avaya.com drove traffic to the inforgraphic, where the user could get more detail at a glance. The video was housed within the infographic, and completed the experience. The video features full motion graphics that simplify the complexity of the virtualized architecture, and clearly differentiate it from the competitors.

Target Audience:
Avaya’s target for their enterprise solutions is a set of highly technical decisionmakers in Fortune 1000 companies, with titles like Director of IT, CIO, VP of Network Operations or Network Planning, or IT Manager.

Strategy:
Faction Media is skilled at taking highly technical sales propositions and simplifying them into something that’s easily understood and moves from a technical specifcations conversation to one of “why our products are better”. Here, we created a dynamic visual representation of VENA through a simple graphic and a short, compelling video with high production value. It increased both click-through and time-on-site substantially (up to 3x) over Avaya’s previous standards.
