Best Financial Services Rich Media Online Campaign

The goal was to increase awareness of Western Union “Money in Minutes” service in France, Italy and the United Kingdom. The service offered reduced fees for money transfers from these countries to the Philippines.

The Philippines Daily Inquirer website, Inquirer.net placed LIQWID® Ads as left and right placements outside the web content page with geo-targeting to each country. One Liqwid tag placed within the site code created an HTML extension and virtual board surface where ads were delivered. A single Liqwid ad unit automatically adapts to dynamically fill the variable space across screen sizes, ad sizes, operating systems, sites and devices.

It was important to make it clear within the ad design that the offer was only available when sending money to and from specific countries.

Liqwid digital studio team coordinated with the agency to convert a flash movie, logo and other assets into the responsive Liqwid ad format. The Liqwid Ad Technology™ minimum size feature assured that the ad would only be delivered at sizes large enough for the message to be understood. If the available space outside the content page would be smaller than the minimum size dimensions, the ad would not be delivered.

The larger creative palate and flexibility of the Liqwid ad format impacted the target audience, as reflected in campaign click and direct response rates.
