The Web Marketing Association is looking for the best technology websites in the world as part of their 30th annual international WebAward Competition for Web site development at www.webaward.org<\/a>. The WebAwards is the standards-defining competition that sets benchmarks for 86 industries, including technology, computer hardware, computer software, electronics, information services, SAAS (formally applications services providers) and interactive services websites, based on the seven criteria of a successful web site. The deadline for technology web sites to enter to be judged is May 29, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In the technology sector, a company\u2019s website is often the first proof of innovation,” stated William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. “Tech brands must communicate complex solutions with clarity while delivering fast, secure, scalable digital experiences that reflect the sophistication of their products. From SaaS platforms and AI integrations to developer portals, product demos, documentation hubs, and interactive roadmaps, technology websites must convert technical depth into accessible value. In a space defined by rapid iteration and intense competition, performance, usability, and thought leadership are critical differentiators. The WebAward Competition provides technology companies and their development partners with an objective evaluation against industry benchmarks, along with the high-visibility distinction of being recognized as an \u2018Award-Winning Website.\u2019 That recognition strengthens market credibility, enhances search visibility, attracts investors and enterprise clients, and validates leadership in both digital execution and technological innovation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Websites are judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use. Each WebAward entry in the technology category is judged against other technology websites and then against an overall standard of excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All technology entrants benefit from receiving valuable feedback in terms of their specific criteria scores compared against the average scores for their industry. They also may receive specific comments from the WebAward\u2019s professional judging panel on their Web site development efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
