Setting industry standards across 90 categories, including Educational, School and University websites. The competition welcomes entries from websites until the May 30, 2025 deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;University websites must meet exceptionally high standards, as today\u2019s digitally native students expect seamless functionality, engaging content, and innovative design,&#8221;<\/em> said <strong>William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association<\/strong>. <em>&#8220;In an era where a university\u2019s website serves as its primary hub for communication, recruitment, and student engagement, institutions must prioritize both usability and creativity. The WebAward Competition provides a premier platform for universities to showcase their excellence in web development, demonstrating their ability to foster learning, enhance student interaction, and deliver an outstanding digital experience. With students increasingly relying on online platforms for academic resources and decision-making, university websites must set a new benchmark in quality, accessibility, and user experience.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a>University<\/a> Websites are critiqued based on seven metrics: including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use. Every entry in the University classification is compared against its category peers and evaluated against a standardized excellence benchmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All University category participants are provided with important feedback that benchmarks their scores against the industry average.
