{"id":3036,"date":"2024-08-05T08:02:34","date_gmt":"2024-08-05T12:02:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.webaward.org\/theblog\/?p=3036"},"modified":"2024-07-22T12:11:16","modified_gmt":"2024-07-22T16:11:16","slug":"3036-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.webaward.org\/theblog\/3036-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Web Marketing Association To Name Best Mobile Websites and Best Mobile Apps of 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Web Marketing Association is pleased to announce the call for entries for its 13<sup>th<\/sup> annual international MobileWebAward competition.\u00a0 It recognizes the individual and team achievements of Web professionals all over the world who create and maintain outstanding mobile Websites and mobile applications.\u00a0 The deadline for entry in the 2024 MobileWebAwards is September 27, 2024.\u00a0 The entry form for this award program can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobile-webaward.org\/?utm_source=PRcom&amp;utm_medium=Release&amp;utm_term=CFE&amp;utm_campaign=Mobile\">http:\/\/www.mobile-webaward.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobile-webaward.org\/?utm_source=PRcom&amp;utm_medium=Release&amp;utm_term=CFE&amp;utm_campaign=Mobile\">MobileWebAwards<\/a> were judged on seven criteria seen as requirements for a success mobile website or mobile app. They include Creativity, Impact, Design, Content, Interactivity, Ease of use and Use of the medium. Each mobile website or mobile app entry is judged against other entries of the same format in its industry category and then against an overall standard of excellence.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s top awards will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <strong>\u201cBest of Industry\u201d MobileWebAward<\/strong> will be given in each of the 86 industry categories, including financial services, medical, small business, travel, advertising, transportation and government.<\/li>\n<li>The competition\u2019s highest honor, the 2024<strong> MobileWebAward \u201cBest of Show,\u201d<\/strong> will be given to the one best mobile website and one best mobile app that the judges believe represents the pinnacle of outstanding achievement in Web development.<\/li>\n<li>The Web Marketing Association will also recognize the interactive agency winning the most awards in the competition with the \u201c<strong>Top Interactive Agency\u201d<\/strong> MobileWebAward.<\/li>\n<li>Each organization that wins 5 or more MobileWebAwards will be awarded an <strong>Outstanding Mobile Interactive Developer<\/strong> award.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Last year\u2019s top awards winners were:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patients &amp; Purpose<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0won Best of Show Mobile Website for &#8220;Optune.com&#8221; which was also recognized as Best Pharmaceuticals Mobile Website<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mirum (Thailand) Co., Ltd\u00a0<\/strong>won Best of Show Mobile Application for &#8220;Silom Edge Application&#8221; which also was recognized as Best Other Mobile Application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mirum (Thailand) Co., Ltd\u00a0<\/strong>was also named Top Interactive Agency for the 2023 MobileWebAwards competition.<\/p>\n<p>Judging for the 2024 MobileWebAwards will take place in October and winners are expected to be announced in late December. \u00a0Judges will consist of a select group of Internet professionals who have direct experience designing and managing mobile Websites,\u2013including members of the media, interactive creative directors, site designers, content providers and webmasters \u2013 with an in-depth understanding of the current state-of-the-art in Web site development and technology. Past WebAward \u00a0judges have included top executives from leading organizations such as A&amp;E Television Networks, Agency.com, Beeby Clark+Meyler, The Cincinnati Enquirer, Comedy Central, Disney, Euro RSCG, Ford Motor Company, Ion Global, IBM, J. Walter Thompson, John Deere Company, New York Post Interactive, Organic, Inc., Refinery, R\/GA, Saatchi &amp; Saatchi, SAP, SapientRazorfish, Sun Microsystems, Warner Bros.
