The WebAwards is the standards-defining competition that sets benchmarks for 96 industries, including political web sites, based on the seven criteria of a successful Web site. The deadline for political web sites to enter to be judged is May 29, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPoliticians running for office and their staff understand the importance of a using a website to reach out to voters, especially in a presidential election year,\u201d said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. \u201cTheir websites should provide a resource for their key audiences and demonstrate their position on various issues. Having that aspect of your political website reviewed is just one benefit of participating in the annual WebAward program. Being recognized as an award winner can\u2019t hurt either\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Web sites are judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use.
