The WebAwards is the standards-defining competition that sets benchmarks for 96 industries, including radio web sites, based on the seven criteria of a successful Web site. The deadline for broadcast web sites to enter to be judged is May 31, 2017.<br \/>\n\u201cThe radio and television industries has become to rely on their websites for an important stream of advertising revenue,\u201d said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. \u201cTheir websites should provide a resource for their target audience. Having that aspect of your broadcast website reviewed is just one benefit of participating in the annual WebAward program. Being able to say you have an award-winning website can\u2019t hurt either\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Web sites are judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use.
